Despite the recent tongue in cheek comment from Bob Arum that the Pacquiao vs Bradley II fight is not yet certain, here we have Manny Pacquiao declaring otherwise. Before boarding his Philippine Airlines flight to the General Santos City in souther Philippines, Pacquiao quipped that he will fight Bradley this April 12, 2014.
Pacquiao is also scheduled to fly for Los Angeles to train for this fight at a new gym that is more exclusive than the Wild Card Gym, as this new gym will only allow one fighter at a time to train. This would allow Pacquiao privacy and added focus as there would be less distraction from other aspiring boxers.
Earlier, Pacquiao visited the famous dancing inmates of Cebu City. He also conducted various Bible studies in Cebu and neighboring provinces. Because of his busy schedule, Pacquiao was not able to meet with Sugar Shane Mosley who is in the Philippines right now. Mosley was eager to pay a visit to his former foe but that would not happen for now. Pacquiao nevertheless sent his regards to Mosley through a common friend.
By now it is clear to us that the much awaited Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight will not take shape despite the challenge of Pacquiao to Mayweather. It appears that Money May is clearly docking the fight. While his fans would argue otherwise, it is plainly evident to most boxing fans that Mayweather fears Pacquiao.
As such, we have to contend with a rematch between Pacquiao and Bradley, which is not a bad match after all. Their first fight was very controversial and this second fight would hopefully settle the real score between these two fighters. So will it be Pacquiao or Bradley? Let’s watch their fight on April 12, 2014 at the MGM Grand Arena in Nevada, Las Vegas.
